Ayurveda

Ayurveda medicine developed between 8000 years ago in the Southern planes of the river Ganges in India. The origin of Ayurveda can be traced to the Vedas, which are the oldest available classics of the world. Vedas are the ancient scientific knowledge or science from India. The literal meaning of Ayurveda is a “science of Life”. The ancient concept of a “Body, Mind and Soul”,  is the base of the Ayurveda.

Ayurveda addresses healing, prevention and longevity.

Ayurveda is part of the new age movement towards the global integration of medicines. A new integrated natural medicines is now slowly emerging on the underpinning of the traditional medicines of the Orient. Ayurveda is the best focal point of synthesis of a Universal medicine for the 21st century. The Increasing incidence of Cancer, obesity hypercholesterolaemia, Osteoporosis and stress disorders are directly related to nutrition. Anti aging foods, anticancer foods and risk free natural foods are being sought. The risk free food is a realistic goal and will not be a scientific day dream.
